Beethoven’s Ninth

Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony in Images

Ludwig van Beethoven
Symphony No. 9 d-minor op. 125 “Choral”

On account of its form and universal cultural importance Beethoven’s 9th Symphony demands a special visual implementation – a challenge that led Tobias Melle to dozens of world cities and once around the globe.
The impressions he collected on this world tour he interwove with the music to an encompassing view on the search for the force, which connects and unifies people. Only together and united we will be able to attain life’s joy and our planet’s future.

“It’ll be nice, if it comes true – After five quarters of an hour almost 2000 spectators and listeners cheered the musicians and Melle enthusiastically. They experienced optics and symphonics in symbiosis. … Tobias Melle’s espressive ‘symphony in images’ and the orchestra’s musical painting nourish hope for the survival of civilization.” (Frankenpost)
